Delivery charges to Europe & rest of world

1) Delivery charges to Europe

2) Delivery charges to USA, Australia, Africa & Asia
 [Covid note]

3) Special Deliveries Abroad - Tracked & Urgent deliveries

4) How do I calculate the weights?

5) Small packets up to 100 grams

6) What does the Delivery Charge include?

We ship orders to all countries in the world and currently have customers in 80 countries. With the high cost of international freight and postage, especially to countries outside Europe, we are obliged to charge appropriate post & packing that covers our costs.

We use UK Royal Mail's Airmail service to ship most parcels. For urgent deliveries, Royal Mail advises the use of their International Tracked (Airsure) service that costs 5.00 more than the cost of the Delivery Charge.

On receipt of your PayPal order for handmade paper and other items from the Wild Paper store, we will send you a PayPal invoice for the extra costs of the Delivery Charge that you can pay with credit card, debit card or PayPal. If at this point you do not wish to proceed with your order, we will refund your order payment in full.

If you have both flat (A4/A3) printer paper and rolled paper in a tube (gift wrap or artists) in the same order, then you will be charged for each parcel, as we have to pay for both of them separately!

Most non-European countries are World Zone 1 or 2. The USA is World Zone 3 and most expensive. Australia & New Zealand are World Zone 2. The Royal Mail charges more for Airmail to Australia and New Zealand but we are currently absorbing the extra costs involved.

3) Special Deliveries Abroad - Tracked & Urgent deliveries
If you require Tracking or a Confirmed and quicker delivery to an address outside the UK, we can send your packet or parcel by Royal Mail’s International Tracked service will generally cost 5 more than our standard Airmail delivery service per parcel up to 2 kg (including all packaging). Add a note or send us an email when you make your order if you require these services.

Royal Mail’s International Tracking is available for most but not all countries. It is not available in the Middle East or Africa, for example.

4) How do I calculate the weights?
The weight must include the weight of packing materials such as padded envelopes, cartons and mailers as well as the goods ordered. For example, an order for 500 grams of handmade paper will need to be sent at the 750 gram weight band. It cannot be sent at the 500 gram band. As a rule of thumb, add 150 grams to the weight for handmade paper orders of 100 grams or more and 200 grams for orders up to 1 kg.

If you are ordering from the USA, Australia or from any country outside the UK, you can contact us via the Contact Form or by email to info@wildpaper.co.uk for an estimate.

5) Small packets up to 100 grams
Small orders for say 100 grams of handmade paper, may be covered by the standard delivery charge of 6.95 that is calculated by the shopping cart. You can order these directly through the shopping cart and we will email you if the weight exceeds Royal Mail limits.

6) What does the Delivery Charge include?
The Delivery Charge is the cost of Royal Mail's Airmail service plus a small amount for the cost of the external packing materials, such as gripseals, mailers and mailing cartons that are used to ship your handmade paper.

The Royal Mail charges more for Airmail to Australia and New Zealand but we are currently absorbing the extra costs involved and charging only the same costs as for America, Asia, Africa etc.

You will only be invoiced for the extra costs of delivery above that charged by the shopping cart.
